There are many great tools and resources for using Twitter. Over time, I will be adding links to articles and tools that I have found helpful. Clicking a link will open a new window so you don’t have to leave this site to check out the resource. This list won’t be sorted in any particular order – I’ll simply add to it as I find resources.

Popular Twitter Tools
I use this to group the people I follow into categoreis, making it easier to keep up with what’s happening. TweetDeck has many more useful features than that, though it was the ability to group people that caught my eye.
Free tool to measure your power and reach on Twitter. Evaluates a number of factors concerning your profile and makes suggestions for people to follow. Interesting idea – fun to play with.
I use this tool to see what others are saying on topics of interest to me. Search results will show tweets containing your search term (with the search terms shown in bold). You can see who initiated the tweet and click to visit their profile. You can also reply from the search results. If the tweet lead to a conversation, you can click “view conversation” to see all the related tweets.
This is a great feature for finding tweeple (people) who are interested in the same topic areas as yourself.
Offers a lot of nice features for using Twitter right from your desktop including the ability to connect to multiple accounts, cross-post to several social networks, search, create short links, get notifications and more.
This is a mobile client for posting updates to Twitter. No need to use SMS, it works over the data network.
